Do you ever feel ineffective when it comes to spiritual warfare?

Do you ever feel like Moses wandering around in the desert, endlessly passing the same mountain again and again, wondering when you will come into the Promise Land God promised?
Whether it is an unending emotional struggle, a health issue, or a direct spiritual assault, sometimes we can feel like our spiritual warfare strategies aren’t working.

Depending on which type of battle we are facing, there are specific weapons we can use to combat the enemy’s schemes. Scripture says:
“Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits–who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:1-5 NIV).
In this verse, three areas of our being are addressed: the body, soul, and spirit. Depending on which types of battles we are facing, we have different strategies we can use to wage warfare with wisdom.
Learning how to discern the types of battles we are facing and then partnering with God to overcome them is one of the ways we can war with wisdom and defeat the enemy.
